Tough Study for the ones with the tough questions

I am helping teach a class of 7th - 9th graders for our Sunday School/Bible Fellowship time. We are using the book "Unshakeable Truth" by Josh McDowell.

This is quite ironic because -
1. I am not a student of apologetics....even though I should be, especially if I may be moving to another country!

2. My husband loves apologetics! Oh, how I wish I had him by my side when I taught....but then, again, I might be a little embarrassed by my lack of expertise.

3. I grew up just accepting what the Word of God said.....My answer to questions people had was "Because it says it in the Bible!" What a "Sunday school answer"!

4. I must be in the Word more. I find more and more each day that I cannot be a wife, parent, daughter, sister, or friend without God's help.

My goals for this week are:
- Get up earlier to spend more time with God.
- Do some type of exercise everyday.
- Read to Z, M and J everyday.
- Pick up and clean everyday.....(last week I got behind on everything!)

I'd love to hear some of your ideas on how you are growing closer to God...and the effects it is having on your family and friends. It is so encouraging to hear how God is molding us all into the people He meant for us to be!
