Preparing for Back to School Swim Party

Did I just say that in my post title? Did I just say "Back To School"? NO way!!!!

Yes, it is that time again. Today I am trying to clean the house a little for the party. We will have a pool full of kids tomorrow afternoon. We are fervently praying that the rain will stay AWAY!

The doctor even gave JC "clearance" to swim. He has not been able to get in the pool for almost 6 weeks! In fact, none of us have. I didn't want him to have to stay out and watch us swim. :(

Micah is starting speech therapy next week. We will begin with his "paying attention" skills for the first few weeks. Maybe they can help me do the same at home. I am hoping to incorporate some class time for him in addition to JC starting next week. (Yep, we will start homeschool again next week!) We had already begun some of his 1st grade curriculum the first of the summer. We will have to work it around Micah's speech therapy also.

Michael has posted a little bit here on the blog about his experiences in Singapore. Please continue to pray for him while he is away. One of his former co-workers in Nigeria is now working on another project in Singapore. His wife had to have surgery and is battling kidney stones right now. Please pray for her and their family. Thank goodness there were some great hospitals over there!

I better get back to cleaning. Only a little bit left to do right now. Starting next week, I am going to try to pick one project a week to hit to clean out the house to prepare for us to move.

One day at a time............I'm just ready to have us all together! :)
