Yes, I have found a site online that teaches you to read, write and speak Korean. It seems that this is one of the more difficult of foreign languages to learn. You literally have to learn their alphabet. As I was looking at the first video yesterday, J asked what I was doing. I told him I was going to work on speaking Korean and then teach him. His response was, "Mom, first you make me do schoolwork with English, then we start Spanish, now I have to learn Korean??". haha! Guess he is really going to be "tri" lingual. :)
I never imagined that we would be learning two foreign languages together. However, I think it is pretty neat...and mother and son learning together. What a concept? (Do you hear the sarcasm in my voice?)
I am going to try to include some video in the blog soon. Maybe this will attract more viewers to the blog. I know it would add a lot to the blog and give a better picture of our life once we are in Korea.

Yeah, sounds crazy. It is a young married couple who went to Korea to teach. They started a blog about their experience to help calm their family's fears of them going overseas. It was also a way of keeping in touch. It then just became so popular that they are working full time on the blog now! It has a lot of info about the culture, moving over there, living there, etc.
If you have children, make sure you screen the site some. There are some "suggestive" posts about some crazy products they found. But the videos about shopping, food, etc. are great! I am now a fan. I have learned so much from this couple already.
I will post an interview of them on my next post.
