Courageous!

Last night, my second choice for a date night (first choice would be my husband!) went with me to see the movie "Courageous". I was sort of nervous about JC going to see this with me. I am not sure what he was expecting. He did get a little antsy about 20 minutes in...but I talked him into staying. He really enjoyed it.

I had to explain a lot on the way home.....things like drunk drivers, gangs, drugs. I feel blessed that my six year old did not know much about it. However, I know that the earlier we teach him how God wants us to handle things like that, the better. It is too late if I wait until he is encountered with it.

The movie went beyond my expectations. It seem Sherwood Pictures just comes up with better and better movies. I loved "Fireproof"! I am praying that I will carry through what I have learned from all the movies this church and group have made.

I will be posting some information about the Resolution. Praying you all will join me in changing our families.

The church that took us in while we were in Texas during my father-in-law's illness and death was called the Revolution Church. Their mission is really simple.....yet so profound.

LOVE GOD, LOVE OTHERS, START A REVOLUTION!
